BREAK OF DAY:
Motion blur is a long-exposure photography technique that lets you convey the feeling of movement or action in a still image. It allows us to see things in a way we can't on our own; some action shots freeze a moving subject with fast shutter speeds, and motion blur uses slow shutter speeds for long exposure photos that blur the point of movement.
There's no single correct application for motion blur. Instead, "it's a storytelling technique, the direction and movement of the ocean at sunset! I use this style of photography with surfers, creating that feeling of speed across the wave, especially during times of low or reduced light( see image below ).
Captured during an incredible sunset over the river mouth in Margaret River, the break of day is a play on words; yes, it should be dawn; however, in this case, it was my break of day away from a commercial shoot I was on during that time.
