TWILIGHT: Twilight is the soft glowing light from the sky when the sun is below the horizon, caused by the reflection of the sun's rays from the atmosphere. It is a perfect time to capture the colours of the sky and sea. Combined with a panning technique that uses a slow shutter speed while moving, your camera creates a motion blur and a sense of movement in the image.
Experimenting with shutter and panning speeds is the key to getting the intended image; I certainly have far more images that do not make the cut compared to other forms of photography, printed on a large scale; they can be mistaken for an artist's brush strokes.
